In 1991, five men from the University of Michigan men’s basketball team became the most iconic group in college basketball history. Dubbed “The Fab Five,” they had back-to-back Final Four appearances and sparked massive merchandise sales, but it all went away from the record books after players were caught taking money bribes. The ESPN film about their rise and fall, which is also called The Fab Five, is the biggest documentary ever aired on the sports network.
