Released back in 1998, Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows, which was directed and shot by Real News Network founder Paul Jay, follows WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart during his final year with the WWE. The crux of the documentary is the immediate fallout from the infamous Montreal Screwjob incident at the 1997 Survivor Series, which rocked the landscape of professional wrestling and changed the relationship between Hart and WWE owner Vince McMahon.
