Murderball gave people a glimpse into the world of wheelchair rugby, and it became a beloved documentary with an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary Feature in 2005. The film showcased the heated rivalry between the U.S. and Canadian teams as they battled for the gold medal at the 2004 Paralympic Games. Filming for this flick wasn’t all that glamorous; a Panasonic AG-DVX100 was used to shoot more of the footage, and a china ball was used to give extra lighting.
