When asked about these rumors during a recent chat with Dazn Portugal, Fernandes said that he will consider his future with the club after he finishes the EURO 2024 campaign with the Portugal national team.

“I don’t have thoughts for other things at the moment. It doesn’t just depend on me,” said Fernandes. “So, if you want me to be very honest, if I have to think about not continuing in the Premier League, it won’t be until after the Euros.”
