Manchester United stars Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes increased the pressure on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following his team’s 4-2 loss to Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday. This is the latest in a series of poor results for the Red Devils.

“We have been having these kind of games for a long time and haven’t found the problem. We have conceded easy and stupid goals,” Pogba stated, suggesting that a change in managerial approach is needed.

Midfield maestro Fernandes largely agreed with Pogba, claiming: “We cannot do this anymore. We did it so many times, we cannot slow the game down when we’re winning. We have to make it quicker, score once again, get one or two more goals and after that, maybe you can slow it down and make them run a bit more.”

While neither player placed direct blame on Solskjaer, they both suggested that a change in tactics is desperately needed at the club.

Currently sitting in sixth place on the Premier League table, the Red Devils have failed to win their past three league games. Following a 1-0 loss at home to Aston Villa, Man Utd were held to a 1-1 draw in another disappointing performance at Old Trafford.
