Loved and hated by many for his egocentric and unapologetic nature, LA Galaxy’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic has candid advice for Lebron James. While talking to reporters earlier this week, the former Manchester United forward said Lebron needs to win if he wants to be an LA great.

Barely one year after joining the MLS from the premier league, Zlatan is one of the most iconic athletes in the US. His outspoken, unapologetic and controversial nature dates back to his youth.

From the ghettos of Sweden, the 36-year-old has remained confident, speaking about things most players don’t. He has rubbed shoulders with corporates and celebrities as well. This week, he made it clear that he is the greatest athlete in LA currently and if Lebron wants to be like him, he has to strive to win.

“For the city, the basketball fans…it’s a good thing. But it is even better if you win. You don’t win, you can for nothing,” Zlatan told USA Today reporters. “He needs to win, just like me.” He added.

Ibrahimovich’s record in soccer is exceptional. He has scored nearly 500 career goals and won 11 major titles with major clubs like PSG, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester United. Although he can be arrogant and take jabs at other players, Zlatan’s recent remarks to Lebron were made with a smile on his face.

Ben loves sports so much but prefers watching other people do it. He prefers not to share what teams he's supporting but he is willing to admit that Lebron James is, in fact, the king.
