Woods has now made the cut at the Masters for 24 consecutive times, more than any other player in the Masters history. He was previously tied with Fred Couples and Gary Player with 23 straight cuts made.

When asked about the record, Woods didn’t waste too much time celebrating. Instead, he remained focused on the task at hand.

“It means I have a chance going into the weekend,” Woods said. “I’m here. I have a chance to win the golf tournament. I don’t know if they’re all going to finish today, but I’m done. I got my two rounds in. Just need some food and some caffeine, and I’ll be good to go.”

While Woods’ is a long shot to threaten the Top 10 at this year’s tournament due to all of the injuries he has been dealing with in recent years, it would be foolish to count him out. After all, he won Masters five times, including in 2019, when no one gave him a chance.

Mike Trout, one of today’s biggest baseball stars, and Tiger Woods, arguably the best golfer of all time, will team up to build a new golf course in New Jersey. According to the announcement made on Tuesday, Trout will serve as an investor alongside several other partners, while Woods and his company TGR Design will be in charge of designing the golf course.

The 18-hole course will be part of the newly-founded Trout National-The Reserve private golf club. The construction is set to begin at some point this year, with the club expecting to welcome its first members in 2025.

Trout National-The Reserve will be located in Trout’s hometown of Vineland, New Jersey. It will include a number of amenities, including a clubhouse, lodging, a practice range, a short-game area, and a wedding chapel.

“I love south Jersey, and I love golf, so creating Trout National-The Reserve is a dream come true. And then to add to that we’ll have a golf course designed by Tiger? It’s just incredible to think that this project has grown to where we’re going to be working with someone many consider the greatest and most influential golfer of all time,” said Trout in a statement.

“I’ve always enjoyed watching Mike on the diamond so when the opportunity arose to work with him on Trout National-The Reserve, I couldn’t pass it up,” Woods added. “It’s a great site for golf and our team’s looking forward to creating a special course for Mike, Jessica, John and Lorie.”

Starting Jan 24, Woods will kick off his 2019 golf tour at his favorite course in San Diego. The course invokes childhood memories for the 43-year-old, noting he used to attend the place with his father in his childhood days.

After the game went past nineteen holes without a winner, the Americans made a makeshift 93-yard 20^th hole near the practice putting green. The game required two more attempts after that before Mickelson prevailed in a 4-foot putt for the win.

Coming to the event, the two players had won a combined 19 majors. They are also two of the most recognizable golfers in the world. So, when the game began, fans knew they were in for a great match. It wasn’t exactly a classic but still enjoyable nonetheless.

Mickelson, who almost lost on the 17^th but Tiger missed the chance, called the game an “incredible opportunity.”

“I’m just trying to calm down, my heart can’t take any more, it was such an incredible opportunity,” Michelson said. “He’s the greatest of all time but to have a little bit of smack talk for the coming years mean a lot to me because I don’t have a lot on him.”

“I was having a hard time not crying on that last hole,” Woods said. “I just can’t believe I’ve pulled this off.”

Next week, Woods will be part of the American team headed for the Paris Ryder Cup and could equal Snead’s 82 title championships. Surprisingly, Tiger had almost given up in ever getting back to golf less than one year ago.

On a day when others rose to heights before plummeting into the pack, Molinari’s greatest weapon was consistency. His defensive round – aiming for par, determined not to drop shots – proved the right strategy. Throw in a couple of birdies and he was always going to be in the shake-up.

His score of -8 overall, left him two shots clear of four players tied for second. Britons Justin Rose and Rory McIlroy finished on -6, along with Americans Kevin Kisner and Xander Schauffele.

Both the latter pair shot 74 on the final day and were left ruing their carelessness. The title awaited had either finished Sunday’s action with a par round.

Woods hauled himself back into contention for the final day when he shot 66 on Saturday. However, as the pressure grew he could only end with a par round of 71. Simple errors crept into his games on the return; in his prime, the sort of self-doubt he never displayed, but now an all too familiar feature of Tiger’s game.

“Since my fusion surgery, I’ve been working hard to relearn my own body and golf swing.” – said Woods. “I’ve done this by primarily relying on my feel and the previous years of hard work with Chris Como. For now, I think it’s best for me to continue to do this on my own. I’m grateful to Chris Como for his past work, and I have nothing but respect for him.“

Como wasn’t present at the Hero World Challenge tournament in the Bahamas, where Woods made his long-expected comeback. At the tournament, Woods shot three rounds in the 60s and ended up being tied for the ninth, 10 shots behind Rickie Fowler.
