Tiger Woods returns to golf for his 2019 tour next Thursday at the Farmers Insurance Open in Torey Pines Golf Course, San Diego.

Starting Jan 24, Woods will kick off his 2019 golf tour at his favorite course in San Diego. The course invokes childhood memories for the 43-year-old, noting he used to attend the place with his father in his childhood days.

As for the tournament, Woods has won it seven times, the most recent being in 2013. In 2008, he won the US Open at the same grounds despite having a broken left leg. Unfortunately, he hasn’t won any major title since then but his comeback shows the legendary player is ready to chase more hardware this year.

Ranked No. 12, the 14-time major title champion will be joined by the current number one Justin Rose and the likes of Rory McIlroy in the tournament. After that, he will participate in the Genesis Open at the Riviera Country Club next month. The Genesis Open is an event hosted by him to promote his charitable foundation.

“I’m looking forward to being back in Los Angeles for the Genesis Open,” he said. “It’s always great to be able to play at Riviera and I am very proud of the impact the Genesis Open has been able to make on education through my foundation.”

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
