The Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine scored a career-high 51 points as his team lost 118-102 in a tense game against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night. In the first 50-point performance of the season, LaVine became the first Bulls player to score 50-plus points and no assists since Michael Jordan on November 6, 1996.

“It’s our third year here together, and we know how this business is,” LaVine said of his partnership with his teammates and coaching staff. “We all love each other. DeMar (DeRozan) is one of my best friends, and we talk all the time, but we have to figure out how to make this work.”

This defeat sees the Bulls slip to ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings with one win and two losses in three games. The Pistons have risen to fifth place with two wins and a loss.

Ben loves sports so much but prefers watching other people do it. He prefers not to share what teams he's supporting but he is willing to admit that Lebron James is, in fact, the king.
