Despite having strong interest from multiple teams in free agency, veteran wideout T.Y. Hilton decided to stick with the only NFL organization he knows.

According to NFL’s Ian Rapoport, Hilton will continue playing in Indianapolis Colts’ jersey after he agreed to a one-year deal with the organization on Wednesday. His new deal is reportedly worth $10 million and comes with $8 million in guarantees.

Hilton later confirmed the deal on his social media, saying that “it’s only right I finish what I started.”

After struggling with production and injuries in 2019, Hilton managed to put together a respectable campaign last season. He played 15 games while catching 56 passes for 762 yards and five touchdowns.

The Colts were ready to let T.Y. Hilton enter the free-agent market after 2020, but it made sense for the organization to try and bring him back. He is a proven playmaker, and Indianapolis needs those, especially since they will have a new quarterback under center in 2021.

Hilton spent his entire pro career in Indianapolis, during which he totaled 608 receptions for 9,360 yards and 50 touchdowns. He also has four Pro Bowl nods to his name.
