West Ham United’s Mark Noble has insisted that there is no bad blood between himself and Manchester United star Paul Pogba after the two players were recently involved in a scuffle.

The French international Pogba upended Noble during the 87th minute of the recent Premier League clash between the two teams and the veteran Noble responded angrily by grappling his opponent.

The incident was an ugly one and both players were booked. Noble has however played down the incident and insisted that there is no bad blood.

He tweeted: “What happens on the pitch stays on the pitch @paulpogba.”

During the aftermath of the game, he also said: “The funny thing is I’m one of Paul’s biggest fans. My son only walked out with me today so he could see Paul Pogba. Paul gets a lot more stick than he deserves. He’s at one of the biggest clubs in the world and gets a lot of pressure on his shoulders. you can tell he really wants to win. I said to him after there were no hard feelings, it happens.”
