Sources revealed that doctors expect Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson to be sidelined for between four and six weeks. The All-Pro was placed on injured reserve last week and is expected to undergo imaging tests in four weeks to determine when he may return to action.

Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell explained that while he does not expect the 2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year to miss the rest of the season, he is unsure of the star’s exact return date. “With hamstrings, I don’t want to speculate on exactly when it will be,” the Vikings coach said with regard to Jefferson’s return. “But I know he feels pretty good considering where some guys feel at this point in the process, having been [injured] just this past Sunday.”

With Jefferson unavailable, wide receivers N’Keal Harry and Trishton Jackson have been elevated from the Vikings’ practice squad. They will back up starters K.J. Osborn and rookie Jordan Addison.
