U.S. international midfielder Weston McKennie is expected to be in demand once the summer transfer window opens. According to Italian media outlet Tuttomercatoweb, McKennie is attracting interest from a number of clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal.
McKennie has been linked with a move away from Juventus last summer but ended up staying with the club. This proved to be the right decision for the Seria A side, considering McKennie has been playing well in 2023-24, contributing with nine assists in all competitions.
Juve will reportedly have a harder time keeping McKennie this time around. He will have just one year left on his contract, and the offers might be too good to pass on. Besides Man United and Arsenal, Fulham is also believed to be interested in the player. There are also a number of German clubs keeping their eye on McKennie, including Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
McKennie is currently sidelined with a dislocated shoulder, picking up the injury during a 3-2 win over Frosinone in February. It is unclear how much time the Fort Lewis, Washington, native will miss, but the reports indicate he won’t be fit in time to help the United States men’s national team in the CONCACAF Nations League finals later this month.
