USMNT’s left-back Antonee Robinson will be rewarded for his great performances last season with a new contract from Fulham. According to The Athletic’s Daniel Taylor and Peter Rutzler, the two sides are currently in the final stages of finalizing a new deal for the 25-year-old American.

Robinson has one year left on his contract, and the Premier League club reportedly made it their priority to extend his stay at Craven Cottage. The U.S. international played 38 games for the club in all competitions in 2022-23 and provided one assist.

Robinson joined Fulham in the summer of 2020 in a $2.4 million transfer from Wigan Athletic. He became a staple of the team’s starting 11 from the very start and decided to remain with the club after Fulham was relegated to the Championship in his first season.

This proved to be a great decision for Robinson, as he continued to play on a high level, helping Fulham return to the top flight immediately and then contributing to the No. 10 finish in the 2022-23 Premier League season.

Robinson has also been a key player for the United States men’s national team. Since he made his debut in 2018, he has been indispensable in the left-back position and went on to play 36 international games while scoring two goals.
