The U.S. international right-back Bryan Reynolds will have to wait on his chance with AS Roma for a bit longer. Reynolds has been loaned by Seria A side once again and will spend the 2022-23 season with Belgium’s KVC Westerlo.

Westerlo, which just returned to the top flight, confirmed the news via their social media. This marks Reynolds’ return to Belgium after he played the second part of the 2021-22 season with Kortrijk.

Reynolds joined Roma in January 2021 on loan from MLS side Dallas FC. The Forth Worth native played five games in the second part of the 2020-21 season with the Italian club before making a permanent move in the summer.

Despite Roma’s previous coaching staff reportedly being high on him, Bryan Reynolds didn’t manage to impress the new coach Jose Mourinho early in the 2021-22 campaign. He made only one appearance in Seria A and was later loaned to Kortrijk. Reynolds made nine Jupiler Pro League appearances and scored one goal.

Lack of playing time affected Reynolds’ status in the United States men’s national team as he wasn’t included in the roster so far in 2022. His most recent appearance came in December 2021 against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
