The Premier League is considered one of the toughest European football leagues as it has one of the greatest constellations of clubs battling each other for the title. The competition is strong and the British clubs saw this weekend that a victory isn’t enough to put you up on the League’s charts.

Tottenham had a scary start in the league this weekend with their first match against Aston Villa. The heavily reinforced team was missing a few players due to injuries and failed to show all its might even though they managed to defeat Villa with a final score of 3-1.

Aston Villa had a great start at the match with John McGinn successfully scoring a goal in the 9th minute of the first half. They defended this score for most of the match and things started looking grim for the Hotspurs. However, Tottenham managed to turn the tide in the 73rd minute when Tanguy Ndombele equalized the score. After this, the match saw another two goals which were scored by Harry Kane in the 86th and the 90th minute leading Tottenham to the fifth position on the Premier League scoreboard.
