Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has admitted that he views London rivals Tottenham Hotspur as genuine rivals to the Premier League title this season. An unbeaten Spurs are currently sitting top of the table after 10 games with 26 points; two points ahead of Arsenal and Manchester City.

“They are right now up there and they’re merited to be where they are, so yes,” Arteta said at this press conference Friday about Spurs’ chances to challenge for the title. “What has happened in the last five years in this league is something unprecedented, it never happened with the amount of points, with the level of the teams now, with the amount of teams with that level that is increasing and increasing.”

Despite the departure of star striker Harry Kane from the club over the summer, Spurs have exceeded expectations on the field, particularly since the arrival of new manager Ange Postecoglou.

Ben loves sports so much but prefers watching other people do it. He prefers not to share what teams he's supporting but he is willing to admit that Lebron James is, in fact, the king.
