Towards the end of the 2020-2021 NFL season, there were rumors that Tom Brady needed knee surgery. However, since Brady continued strapping on his helmet and winning games, no one really took it super seriously.

After winning the Super Bowl in legendary fashion, people assumed that Brady would get the surgery, but no one knew when it was going to happen. The only thing we heard was that he would be ready to play by June.

On The Late Late Show with James Corden, the world received an answer to the question. Apparently, Brady has already gotten the surgery, and no one even realized it.

On the show, Brady revealed the following: “I actually had knee surgery, so I’m kind of rehabbing now, which is giving me something to do, although I’d much rather be kind of staying active like I normally do.”

Considering the fact that Brady is one of the most popular athletes of all time, it’s no surprise that this news took people for a loop. Fans of his are watching his every move (or trying to), so naturally, they were shocked that his surgery was done in secret.

Oh, well. We can only hope that this means he’ll be more than ready to suit up next season and prepare for another epic playoff run.
