New England quarterback Tom Brady declined to confirm whether he is injured on his left knee on Monday, saying he is “100 percent and feels great about his health condition.

“I feel great,” Brady told the Athletic. “I feel 100 percent.”

Not only did Brady say he felt great but he also unequivocally said he didn’t want to answer any questions concerning his left knee condition.

“I am not getting into specifics with injuries,” Brady said. “It just doesn’t make any sense…. “It is football. There are a lot of guys dealing with a lot of things.”

Sunday’s Situation

The knee injury reports started on Sunday when Brady failed to complete his usual pregame run from one end of the field to the other and back. During the game against the Buffalo Bills, the quarterback got substituted with 6:39 left. The Patriots went on to win 24-12.

Concerns about Brady’s health have, however, been going on since the game against the Titans last month. Brady got injured in his left knee during that game but hasn’t been sidelined for long.

The decline in his performance one year after winning the MVP Award has also increased the reports. But with his increasing age and the season being near the end—it’s likely the quarterback is just experiencing normal wear and tear.
