The Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis is expected to represent his team in their upcoming clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night. This comes after the 24-year-old player threw four touchdown passes during his NFL debut during Sunday’s 28-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
Levis stepped in for regular starter Ryan Tannehill, who suffered a right high ankle sprain in the Titans’ 16-24 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in London back in Week 6. Still in recovery, Tannehill’s setback is reminiscent of his injury last season, when he missed two games as a result.
Completing 19 of his 29 pass attempts for 238 yards and four touchdowns, Levis has had an almost immediate impact on the Titans in Tannehill’s absence. Levis is the third NFL player in history to make four passing touchdowns in his first career game.
