Haller began his professional career with the team of his youth, Auxerre, in France’s second division. He then made a move to FC Utrecht in the Eredivisie in 2014, where he scored a grand total of 41 goals in only 82 games.

He made his big career move in 2017, heading to the Bundesliga’s Eintracht Frankfurt. There, he became one of the team’s unquestioned starters, impressing with his natural knack for finding the back of the net.

The gifted striker notched 24 goals and 13 assists in only 60 matches over two seasons with the German side. His constant aerial threat and strong right leg made him a tough task for opposing defenses and piqued the interest of West Ham.
