However, after Redskins went through an overhauled and hired Ron Rivera as their new coach, they are willing to try and make amends with their star tackle.

Rivera recently had an interview with Larry Michael of Redskins Nation, during which he said that he would love to have Williams on his team in 2020.

“We got to get Trent in, we got to sit him down, see where he is, see how he is, healthwise too. We have not really had the contact we need to have to know,” said Rivera.
