Baltimore Ravens added some veteran presence to their secondary on Tuesday.

The team announced that they have signed cornerback Tramon Williams, adding the 37-year-old player to their active roster. In a corresponding move, Ravens placed corner Khalil Dorsey on Injured Reserve.

Williams last played in 2019, when he had 39 tackles, two interceptions, eight passes defended, and one forced fumble in 16 games with Green Bay Packers.

While Williams is no longer a starting-quality corner, he can still provide valuable depth for the Ravens’ secondary that has been hit with multiple injuries in 2020. Besides Dorsey, Baltimore’s list of injured defensive backs includes Pro Bowler Tavon Young and second-year player Iman Marshall, who are both out for the season, and Anthony Averett, who is dealing with shoulder issues and is currently on IR.

Tramon Williams spent the better part of his career with the Packers, where he played 10 seasons on two separate stints. Williams won a Super Bowl with the Packers and also got his only Pro Bowl selection there.

Williams, who also suited up for Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals, has 703 career tackles to go with 4.5 sacks, 34 interceptions, 152 pass deflections, and two defensive touchdowns.
