Veteran outside linebacker Terrell Suggs spent his entire NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens and he would like to keep it that way. Speaking with the reporters after Wild-Card loss against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Suggs, who is entering the free agency this year, said he doesn’t think about ending his career just yet and would “love to be a Raven for life.”

“I would love to be a Raven for life,” – said Suggs. “I’m healthy. I feel like I’ve still got some juice in the tank. I would love to be a Raven for life.”

Despite being 36-years-old and playing his 16th season in the league in 2018, Terrell Suggs played solid football this season. He started all 16 games and had 34 tackles to go with seven tackles, which was second-highest mark among Baltimore’s players. This brought Suggs to 135.5 career sacks, which ranked him 13th on the NFL’s all-time sacks.

While Suggs isn’t getting any younger, he has proved that he still can play on a high level, so it would make sense for Ravens to bring him back if the price is right. Still, if the organization chooses to move on from him, he still intends to play in 2019.

“It’s up to them,” – Suggs told reporters about his contract situation. “I mean, we’ll have to see what happens. It’s a long time between here and March, so we’re just going to enjoy it, hope we can work it out. But if not, I’m going to be lining up for somebody next year.”
