After sitting out three games with foot soreness, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler was back in action on Monday, just in time to face rival T.J. Warren.

Miami defeated Indiana by a score of 114-92, with Butler contributing 19 points. The Heat and Pacers are in a tight race for the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs in which Miami just moved ahead with this win. Both teams have two games left to play.

Warren, who has been absolutely lighting it up in the bubble, only scored 12 points against the Heat, going a miserable 5 for 14 shooting in 29 minutes of playing time.

Warren has been the league’s best scorer since the season reconvened in the bubble after a short stoppage due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Coming into the game, Warren was averaging 34.8 points per game since the break.

This was the first meeting between the Heat and Pacers since January 8, a game that will be remembered by the heated matchup between Butler and Warren. In only seven seconds of playing time, both received double-technicals and Butler ended up getting ejected.

Butler got the best of Warren on Monday, however, guarding him on 25 possessions during which Warren was only able to score two points.
