Denver Nuggets are not done with putting together a roster that can compete in stacked West. Nuggets’ president of basketball operations Tim Connelly announced on Tuesday that the team signed guard PJ Dozier to a deal.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Dozier, who spent the last season with Boston Celtics, inked a one-year contract with the organization.

PJ Dozier went undrafted in 2017 NBA Draft and ended up working out with several teams until landing a two-way deal with Oklahoma City Thunder. He spent the most of the season with Thunder’s G League affiliate managed to see only two appearances in NBA in his rookie year.

Ahead of 2018/19 season, Dozier signed with Boston Celtics and ended up playing six games in NBA while averaging 3.5 points per game. He, however, had a strong showing in the G League, making its All-NBA G League team.

Besides Dozier, Nuggets made another roster move by signing rookie forward Tyler Cook to a two-way contract. Cook played college basketball with Iowa, where he averaged 14.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game in three years.
