The Cavs added that Love’s condition will be assessed on a daily basis, and his participation in full-contact drills will depend on this. If everything goes well, the next step for a 32-year-old star should be playing NBA games.

Kevin Love, according to multiple records, could be on the move due to the Cavaliers’ newfound interest in trading him away from a beneficial package of young players and/or draft picks.

Love, who is 31-years-old, has been with Cleveland since the 2014-15 season after he was acquired in a three-team deal from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

(Larry Drew) and the coaching staff down if I didn’t get out there and play and get out there and play as soon as I could — so long as I’m healthy.”
