Cavaliers decided to take part in the NBA’s transaction window ahead of the 2019/20 season resume despite the fact that they won’t be making it to Orlando. According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Cavs signed center Jordan Bell to a two-year deal on Tuesday.

Bell spent the majority of this season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he averaged 3.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 27 games. He also spent time with the Memphis Grizzlies but was released in early March after playing just two games with the organization.

Bell is now expected to become a part of Cleveland’s young roster and contribute on the defensive end of the ball with his versatility and athleticism.

Jordan Bell started his NBA career as Chicago Bulls’ second-round pick in 2017. However, he didn’t suit up for the Bulls, as the organization traded his rights to Golden State Warriors on the draft night. Bell ended up spending two years with the Warriors and was part of their NBA title-winning team during the 2017/18 season.

Bell’s NBA career averages include 3.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.

Reportedly, the Cavaliers also signed forward Dean Wade to a multi-year deal. Wade was previously on a two-way deal with organization and averaged 1.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in 12 games.
