The Cleveland Cavaliers are expected to be without one of the key members of their frontcourt after John Henson suffered a strained right hamstring in Saturday night’s win over the Indiana Pacers.

Henson, who was acquired in a trade from the Milwaukee Bucks in December of last year, missed almost all of the 2018-19 season after suffering a torn left wrist ligament and undergoing surgery to fix the problem.

Almost unbelievably, in his Cleveland debut on Saturday night, he was forced off with yet another injury that will force him to miss time and work to recover.

The North Carolina alum was only able to complete eight minutes on Saturday, scoring 3 points and grabbing three rebounds. He is still expected to be a big part of the Cavaliers’ roster in this rebuilding season, but the team will have to wait yet again for him to return to the court.

Henson, who will turn 29-years-old in December, has averaged 7.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game as a part-time starter over the course of 7+ seasons in the league.

Cleveland will be expected to welcome him back to the team sometime during mid to late November.
