Ruggs’ father confirmed the news to AL.com on Tuesday, saying that the Crimson Tide product was pinned by a trailer.

“He was trying to move a trailer or something — move furniture or something — and the trailer just kind of pinned him against a car or a wall or something,” said Henry Ruggs Jr. “He’s pretty much OK, I’m about to go out there and see him in a little bit. It was just like a little open wound on his leg, a little incision. “

According to his father, Ruggs III feels “ok,” although he is forced to walk on crutches at the moment.

The Raiders also acknowledged the injury, but declined to make a comment, stating that they respect the player’s “right to medical privacy.”

Henry Ruggs III spent his college career with the University of Alabama, where he had 98 catches for 1,716 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns in three years.
