Cleveland Browns rookie cornerback Greedy Williams is yet to play a single NFL snap, but that didn’t stop him from having big ambitions. Williams, who was drafted in the second round out of LSU, wants nothing less than Hall of Fame recognition when his career is said and done.

“It was great,” – said Williams when reporters asked him about offseason workouts. “I’m just ready to get this season going and try to work towards being a Hall of Famer because that’s one of my long-term goals is to be a Hall of Famer.”

Williams explained that he had his mind set on Hall of Fame ever since his first college game in 2017.

“I remember my first game, caught an interception, and I said, when I get to the NFL level, I want to be a Hall of Famer,” – he added. “My job isn’t finished until I have a gold jacket.”

After being a redshirt his first year at LSU, Greedy Williams went on to play 24 games of college football in 2017 and 2018. During that time, he had 77 tackles, eight interceptions, and 19 pass deflection.

Although Williams was projected as a possible first-round pick, he slid down to the middle of the second round which allowed Browns to trade up three spots and select him 46th overall.
