Although Belgium star winger Eden Hazard is playing some of his best soccer under the guidance of new Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri, he is still not ruling away the possibility of playing for Real Madrid in the near future.

Hazard was linked with a move to Spain this past summer but ended up staying with Chelsea after the club was unwilling to let him go. Still, in a recent interview, Hazard admitted that playing for Real is a dream for him since he was a child and he still has ambitions to play there.

“Real Madrid is the best club in the world,” – said Hazard. “I don’t want to lie, it is my dream since I was a kid.”

“We will see. I don’t want to talk about this every day. I don’t have time, but we will talk about my future soon.” – he added.

Eden Hazard’s former Chelsea teammate and fellow Belgium international Thibaut Courtois already made a switch to Real Madrid this summer. Courtois publicly stated his desire to move to Madrid and in order to force the club to let him go, failed to report for training camp.

But Hazard isn’t willing to take this approach.

“I don’t want that [drama],” – Hazard explained. “I want what’s good for me, but I want what’s good for the club because the club has given me everything. I don’t want to say: ‘Yes, I am signing a new contract,’ and then I don’t end up signing.”

Hazard is having a tremendous start of the season, having scored eight goals and added three assists in 10 matches in all competitions for Chelsea.
