White had issues with the same toe in the offseason, having to undergo surgery during the offseason. He missed the preseason and the team’s first four games of the 2020-21 campaign while recovering. The game against the Lakers, in which he had nine points and two blocks in 23 minutes on the floor, was his season debut.
