Inter Milan is looking to move on from Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen less than a year after acquiring him from Tottenham. According to multiple reports, Inter is shopping Eriksen around with hopes of recouping the $25 million they invested in him in January.

Reportedly, this price tag attracted several high-profile clubs, and they are ready to jump on the bargain. So far, Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be the frontrunners, while Manchester United is also looking to get involved and offer Eriksen a return to Premier League.

Christian Eriksen arrived in Milan as a big-name signing and was lauded as the man that will help the team challenge for the Seria A title. However, the move for the 28-year-old midfielder was reportedly favored more by management than coach Antonio Conte.

Seria A giants Inter Milan have made another move in their ongoing attempt to dethrone Juventus. The team officially confirmed on Tuesday that they have acquired Danish star midfielder Christian Eriksen from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

Eriksen found himself on the market this transfer window after he rejected the opportunity to sign an extension with Tottenham. Risking losing him for nothing in the summer, English powerhouse opted to sell him. Several high-profile European teams were interested, but Inter made the first move and nabbed the 27-year-old. The reported transfer fee is believed to be around $20 million.

“I couldn’t wait to join, it’s wonderful to be here and I’m happy to be a new Inter player,” said Eriksen. “I’m very excited and can’t wait to introduce myself to the fans.”

Eriksen spent six-and-a-half years in England, playing 305 and scoring 69 goals in all competitions during that period. He also dished 62 assists in Premier League alone.
