Denver Broncos have sorted out their kicker position for years to come. Broncos announced over the weekend that they have signed kicker Brandon McManus on a four-year extension, keeping him with the organization through 2024.

McManus entered the final year of his contract in 2020, which was set to pay him $3 million in base salary, and would be an unrestricted free agent next year. According to NFL Network, McManus’ new deal is worth $17.2 million and comes with a $4.3 average annual salary. This includes $9.5 million in guarantees.

McManus had a successful campaign in 2019, making 85.3 percent of his field goals and 25 out of 26 extra-point attempts.

Coming out of Temple in 2013, Brandon McManus spent his first year in the league on practice squads with Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants. He joined Broncos in 2014 and split his time between being the team’s starting kicker and kickoff specialists.

In 2015, however, McManus took over Denver’s kicker spot for good and hadn’t missed a game since. He came big for the Broncos a few times, especially in Super Bowl 50 win, when he made three field goals and one extra point.

McManus has 81.5 percent (173/141) field goal conversion and is 98.5 on extra points.
