While the financial terms of the deal remained undisclosed, the sources close to the situation reported that the overall value of the contract is around $2.5 million with an added club option for 2020.

“We’d been talking about Adam Warren over the offseason,” – said Padres’ manager Andy Green. “We’re thrilled to have him. He’s a late arrival to camp. He’s got a real slider, a four-pitch mix. And it’s versatility. He started a little bit in the big leagues in 2015. He knows how to pitch. He’s pitched in big situations. We’re thrilled to add him to the mix.”

Adam Warren, who spent most of his MLB career with the New York Yankees, played with the Seattle Mariners in 2018. He made 23 appearances and finished the year with 3-1 record and 3.74 ERA.

Warren’s career stats include 26–23 record, 3.42 ERA and 403 strikeouts.
