To date, Super Bowl LIV was one of the most exciting Super Bowls as the Kansas City Chiefs had a major comeback in the fourth quarter to defeat the San Fransico 49ers 31-20.

Not only did they take the win, but this was also Kansas City’s first win in 50 years and their third Super Bowl championship—they won in 1962 and 1969.

Led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the youngest quarterback to win Superbowl MVP and a Super Bowl title at 24-years-old, by the fourth quarter, the Chiefs navigated the 49ers defensive pressure with Mahomes’ two long touchdown passes that led to their victory.

About the win, Mahomes said, “We never lost faith,” Mahomes said. “That’s the biggest thing. Everybody on this team, no one had their head down. We believed in each other.”

The Chiefs were also the first team in NFL history to win three games after trailing by 10-or-more points in a single postseason.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid scored his first Super Bowl Ring as head coach! “This is what it’s all about,” Reid said. “What a great team, great coaches. Appreciate every bit of it.”

San Francisco 49ers’ tight end George Kittle emerged as the team’s biggest weapons on offense in the past two years while also establishing himself as one of the best players at his position. Kittle’s excellent performances is even more impressive once you realize that he has been achieving them while injured.

Kittle recently made an appearance on Pardon My Take podcast, where he revealed that he has been dealing with torn labrum injury in the past two seasons.

“So I dislocated my shoulder last year, and my labrum is completely torn. So I don’t get surgery on it — [the protective sleeve] basically helps me, so it doesn’t hurt all the time,” said Kittle.

Kittle also ruled out the possibility of getting surgery in the near future.

“I can’t miss those workout days, man,” he added.

Kittle had 85 receptions for 1,053 yards and five touchdowns in the regular season, which brought him second consecutive Pro Bowl appearance and first career All-Pro selection. Besides his influence in the passing game, he had a huge impact on run and pass blocking as well.

The 26-year-old also added four receptions for 35 yards in postseason games against Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers.
