We will be getting a Stipe Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier trilogy soon. According to UFC president Dana White, current Miocic and Cormier are set to face in the UFC Heavyweight title fight for the second consecutive time and third time overall.

The two first met in UFC 226 in July of 2018, when Cormier managed to take the UFC heavyweight champion title from Miocic. Then Cormier successfully defended the title against Derrick Lewis at UFC 230 in November, before Miocic took it back at UFC 241 on August 18, 2019.

There were rumors that Francis Ngannou might be in the mix for the shot to face Miocic in UFC Heavyweight title fight, but it seems like White will side with the fans who want to see him fight Cormier once again.

“Stipe is recovering from that fight. He’s got some bumps and bangs from that fight, and yeah, we’re gonna do that trilogy,” – said White in an interview with Barstool Sports. “Yes, (Miocic vs. Cormier 3 is next).”
