The Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry could potentially return to the team from injury during Sunday afternoon’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Crypto.com Arena.

Curry has been sidelined since February 4, when he injured his left leg against the Dallas Mavericks. Despite being injured for almost a month, the Warriors’ star player has been involved in minor team drills and workouts in an effort to return to form as he advances in the recovery process. He got involved in scrimmages with his teammates over the past two days, including one on Thursday morning.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr reported that Curry appears to be in good form, participating in the scrimmages and emerging from them without any setbacks.

Although Curry will not participate in the Warriors’ game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, the decision to omit him from the team is more of a preventative measure, with the Warriors set to reevaluate him before the team departs on Saturday afternoon for its three-game road trip.

Thursday will mark the 10th straight game that Curry will miss as a result of his lingering injury. The team has gone 5-4 during Curry’s absence.
