The Pittsburgh Steelers inside linebacker Know Alexander suffered a torn Achilles during the 23-19 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. It appears as if the starting linebacker’s injury in the first quarter was non-contact.

“Kwon Alexander has a serious lower-body injury,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin announced after the game. “He’s being evaluated but not promising there.” Second-year linebacker Mark Robinson took over from Alexander while Elandon Roberts took over on-field communication in Alexander’s absence.

Alexander signed with the Steelers during training camp. He previously tore his Achilles tendon on Christmas Day 2020 when he was still playing for the New Orleans Saints. On that occasion, he was able to return after just nine months on the sidelines.

Ben loves sports so much but prefers watching other people do it. He prefers not to share what teams he's supporting but he is willing to admit that Lebron James is, in fact, the king.
