The Buffalo Bills’ star quarterback Josh Allen will be on the cover of the latest edition of the popular football video game Madden NFL. He became the first Bills player to receive the honor.

Allen shared the news on social media on Tuesday, posting a photo of the Madden NFL 24 cover with his face on it and describing it as “a childhood dream come true.”

In a chat with ESPN, Allen said that he never imagined being selected as a cover athlete for Madden NFL, especially considering all the obstacles he had to overcome during his career.

“It’s such a small group of people who have ever touched the face of Madden, so now to be on that list, it’s very surreal. It’s very humbling,” Allen told ESPN. “To think about where I was not too long ago and coming out of high school with zero offers, going to junior college and have one offer, the University of Wyoming of all places, and then fast-forward to now.”

Allen was one of the highest-rated quarterbacks in the previous edition of the game. He started with an overall grade of 92 and got up to 96 at one point before finishing at 93 overall after the season wrapped up.

Considering he became the face of Madden NFL 24, Allen is now hoping that he will get a slight boost this time around.

“I’m a logical man, and I think it’s going to be a little bit above 92, but until I get to that 99 club, I’ll be working hard,” he added.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
