The San Antonio Spurs guard Devin Vassell is being considered day-to-day as he struggles with a groin injury. After experiencing groin tightness during his team’s 121-132 win over the Phoenix Suns, Vassell underwent an MRI which showed that he suffered a left adductor strain.

While being monitored on a daily basis, it appears as if Vassell is unlikely to play in the Spurs’ game against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday afternoon, especially after coach Gregg Popovich admitted that he expected the guard to be out for longer than it now appears. “The groin is one of those things where it can take a while,” Popovich explained.

Averaging 19.4 points and shooting 40.7% from deep, Vassell has proven to be a reliable option for the Spurs this season. He was replaced in the win against the Suns’ by Malaki Branham, whom veteran forward Doug McDermott said was “brilliant”.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
