The 2024 Paris Summer Olympics are about to get even more entertaining. NBC announced that rapper Snoop Dogg is joining the network as a “Special Correspondent” for the big sporting event.

Snoop Dogg also confirmed the news by sharing a video in which he performs his signature dance in front of a backdrop of the Eiffel Tower.

“I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris. It’s a celebration of skill, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement. “We’re going to have some amazing competitions, and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix. It’s going to be the most epic Olympics ever, so stay tuned, and keep it locked.”

This won’t be the first time that Snoop Dogg provides commentary for the Olympics. The rapper also took part in the streaming service Peacock’s coverage of the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, teaming up with comedian Kevin Hart. His commentary was a massive hit among the viewers, resulting in several viral videos on social media.

The 2024 Paris Olympics are scheduled to take place between 26 July and 11 August. Paris will serve as the main host city, with 16 other French cities also hosting certain events.
