Guard Shaun Livingston was waived by the Warriors on July 10 and has decided to call it a career after 15 seasons in the league. Livingston won 3 Championships with Golden State in ’15, ’17, and ’18.

The 6-foot-7 Livingston was a consistent presence on one of the best franchises in recent NBA history, and his winning attitude both on and off the court was undermined slightly by spotlight players such as Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.

After being drafted 4th overall by the LA Clippers in 2004, he suffered a devastating injury in 2007, which many people thought he wouldn’t come back from. But, he fought his way back and ended up playing for 9 different teams, although he will be remembered best for his time with the Warriors.

Livingston just turned 34 on Wednesday and took to Instagram to announce his retirement.
