In the first three games of the 2020 NFL season, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has achieved something no other quarterback in history has achieved. Leading Seattle to a 3-0 start, Wilson has thrown 14 touchdown passes, the most ever by a quarterback in the first three games of the season.

The Seahawks haven’t looked perfect. Their defense is not as good as it once was, they are battle through injuries at multiple positions, and their running game has been very inconsistent. But Wilson has been almost perfect, and if he continues playing like this, not only will he be a sure lock for the league MVP, he might just put together the greatest season ever by an NFL quarterback.

That’s how good he’s been.

Wilson outdueled Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, leading Seattle to a 38-31 victory, throwing for an unbelievable five touchdowns, 315 yards, and a completion percentage of 67.5. It was the second week in a row that he has thrown for five touchdowns.

Seattle has beaten good, playoff-caliber teams in the last three weeks, the Atlanta Falcons, New England Patriots, and Cowboys.

Wilson will look to continue his historic start against the Miami Dolphins in Week 4.
