Argentinian midfielder Javier Pastore might be on his way to MLS according to Sky Sport Italia. Reportedly, Pastore, who is currently playing in Seria A with Roma, is interested in coming to the U.S. with LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders being the biggest favorites for his signature.

Pastore is believed to be out of favor in Roma, having played just nine games in Seria A this season. Considering that he is among the club’s top earners, the Italian powerhouse is eager to move on from the 31-year-old midfielder and is willing to sell him in the summer.

While staying in Europe remains an option for Pastore, Sky Sport Italia reports that MLS would be the player’s preferred option as he looks to get his career back on track.

Javier Pastore spent the majority of his career with Paris Saint-Germain, where he made 269 appearances and scored 45 goals between 2011 and 2018. After losing his place in PSG’s starting lineup, Pastore joined Roma in 2018 in a transfer worth close to $30 million.

Although Pastore is supposed to be one of Roma’s main playmakers, the Argentinian never managed to settle in. Due to injuries and bad form, he only managed to play 30 games with the club in two seasons while scoring four goals.
