New England Patriots fans can stop worrying for a bit. According to ESPN tight end Rob Gronkowski and wide receiver Danny Amendola are expected to play in Week 3 game against Huston Texans. Rob Gronkowski suffered a groin injury in the Patriots’ 36-20 win against New Orleans Saints and had to leave the game in the third quarter. During his time spent in the game, Gronkowski had 116 yards, 10 receptions and one touchdown. This was a great improvement compared to the game against the Kansas City Chiefs, when Gronkowski had 2 receptions for 33 yards.  After missing Wednesday’s practice, Gronkowski returned on Thursday and Friday but as limited participant. If we were to believe Gronk himself, he’ll definitely play against Texans.

Am I good to go? Yeah, I’m good to go,” Gronkowski said on Friday after practice. “I’m ready.

New England’s wide receiver Danny Amendola suffered a concussion in the season opener against the Chiefs and left the game in second half, while having 6 catches for 100 yards. He missed Week 2 game against the Saints. Amendola participated in practices on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but also on limited basis.

I feel really good. I had a strong week. It was rough sitting out last week. I was excited to get back out there this week, get back to work.” – Amendola said when questioned about his condition. “There’s going to be bumps and bruises along the way, just like any other season. That’s football, right? I feel really good today. I feel strong. I feel fast. I’ll get ready tomorrow and continue to prepare.

After Friday’s practice ended, Patriots shared injury report on their official Twitter account. According to the report, both Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola are listed as questionable. This shouldn’t be too alarming and Patriots probably just don’t want to rush anything and will make the final decision on the game day.
