Real Madrid is still waiting on French star striker Kylian Mbappe to decide whether he wants to join Los Blancos or stay with his current club, Paris Saint-Germain. But according to a recent report by Spanish media outlet Sport, Mbappe’s decision will have even more implications than it was originally believed.

Sport reports that Real are ready to offload their star Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior to make room for Mbappe if he decides to come to Santiago Bernabeu. Junior’s departure would help cover Mbappe’s substantial signing bonus and high wage demands.

Mbappe will be out of contract in the summer and is already able to negotiate contracts with clubs outside France. The 25-year-old player still hasn’t made up his mind about his future, but the expectation is that he’ll make the final decision soon. PSG is believed to be fighting hard to keep Mbappe, reportedly offering him a deal worth €100 million per year.

Vinicius Junior just recently signed a new deal with Real, which ties him to the club until the summer of 2027. The 23-year-old is considered one of the most talented young players in the world, so if Real decides to sell him, there would be no shortage of suitors. Junior played 18 games in all competitions this season, scoring 10 goals and adding four assists.

I am a reality TV junkie. My dream since I was a kid was to be on Big Brother, but until then you can catch me binge-watching episodes each summer.
