After losing their biggest star when Cristiano Ronaldo left for Juventus last summer, it appears that Real Madrid already has its eyes set on their next target.
It seems that the Spanish club is focused on acquiring PSG wünderkind Kylian Mbappé in a transfer with Paris Saint Germain this summer.
Mbappé, who has burst onto the scene as one of the top players in the world over the course of the past two seasons, will reportedly have a price tag of over $300 million dollars if he is to be sold.
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane, also from France, is said to have Mbappé at the top of his summer wish list.
PSG bought Mbappé from Monaco for $154 million last summer after he spent the 2017-18 season on loan with the French champions.
At only 20 years old, Mbappé is already one of the most decorated players in world soccer. He helped France lift th 2018 FIFA World Cup trophy in Russia last summer.
Mbappé has already scored 31 goals in 35 official games this season, and has also provided 15 assists.
Los Blancos seem ready to pay an exorbitant price in order to secure the future of one of soccer’s brightest young stars. Now, we will wait and see if they are able to pull off the move this summer.
