Real Madrid is trying to lure Paul Pogba to La Liga for some time now, but Manchester United refused to sell the French midfielder this summer. It’s rumored that Madrid could make another attempt in January, and it seems like this move would end up sitting really well with the team’s locker room.

Real Madrid’s captain Sergio Ramos recently talked with Express about Pogba’s arrival to his club and said he would welcome such turn of events.

“I think Real Madrid always has the door open for good players such as him,” – Ramos told the magazine.

Ramos didn’t stop here and he went on to express his admiration about the qualities of the Man Utd star.

“For me, Pogba is one of the great players,” – he added. “He is different, and he has shown his value at Juventus and now Manchester United. I think he brings balance to a team. He has a great offensive influence and he has this amazing physique.”

Paul Pogba was linked with a move from Manchester United for the better part of the summer, as the Premier League powerhouse won’t be playing Champions League this season. There were several other interested clubs, including Barcelona and PSG, but Real Madrid emerged as the favorite.

Real was reportedly really close on Pogba, but had to back down as they couldn’t meet Manchester’s asking price following pricy acquisitions of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.

Pogba played four games with Man Utd in Premier League this season and managed to contribute with two assists. He is currently on international duty with the French national team.

I am a reality TV junkie. My dream since I was a kid was to be on Big Brother, but until then you can catch me binge-watching episodes each summer.
